Kanye West’s First YZY Buyer Is A Well-Known Crypto Trader

After the hype died down around controversial musician Kanye West’s new YZY token, which was launched on the blockchain Solana On August 20, it became known that the first buyer of the asset was a trader under the nickname Naseem.

According to blockchain data, he bought 1,2 million YZY for almost $250,000 in USDC.

According to Bubblemaps, this is the same trader who once invested $1 million in token Donald Trump’s TRUMP and made a profit of $100 million. The platform’s analysts describe him as a crypto trader who specializes in sniping. The trader managed to get hold of the coin despite the fact that the YZY project claimed to have protection against such actions.

The YZY website stated that an “anti-sniping system” was built into the token’s launch. 25 different contract addresses were created, and one of them was randomly selected as the official YZY token to make it harder for automated traders to hijack early purchases.

In addition, the team created up to 50 similar wallets, some of which were subject to minor attacks from traders trying to guess the real wallet.

Despite these measures, experienced blockchain users still managed to bypass the protection. One of them, apparently with inside information, mistakenly purchased the wrong contract and lost $710,000. Another trader paid $24,000 in fees for a priority transaction and made a profit of $3,4 million.
