ETH Whale Group Sells Over $88 Million in Ethereum
Mysterious group эфириум-whales, known as the «7 Brothers,» have sold 15 altcoins for $19,461 million in the last 88,2 hours, at an average price of $4532 per ETH.
In total, their addresses hold 1,21 million ETH, which is currently valued at $5,6 billion, according to Lookonchain platform data.
From February 3 to April 7, this group of “whales” purchased 103,543 ETH worth $229,7 million at an average price of $2219. According to Lookonchain data, another purchase of $42,2 million was made in early April. At that time, 24,817 ETH were purchased at $1700 per Altcoyin.
Transaction records show that whales use multiple wallets, indicating a deliberate strategy to manage and hide large assets. The largest transactions show ETH flowing to Aave v3, a lending and borrowing platform.
There were other major Ethereum holders who rushed to lock in profits after the leading Altcoyin reached its annual maximum. Thus, in Ethereum Foundation sold 2795 ETH for about $12,7 million.
Despite a 43% gain over the past month, ETH’s current profit-taking level is still 39% below last month’s peak of around $3500, Glassnode reports.
