Bitcoin ETFs Face Second Largest Outflows

On Friday, there was a net outflow of funds from bitcoin ETF amounted to $812,25 million, which became the second largest one-day loss in the history of these investment products.

As a result of the withdrawal of funds, the total amount of assets under management of American BTC funds decreased to $146,48 billion. This is 6,46% of the market capitalization of bitcoin.

The leader in capital withdrawal was the FBTC fund from Fidelity, from which investors withdrew $331,42 million. It is followed by ARKB from ARK Invest with an outflow of $327,93 million. Grayscale’s GBTC lost $66,79 million, and BlackRock’s IBIT suffered a relatively small loss of $2,58 million.

Trading volumes remained high, and the total value of all spot bitcoin ETF amounted to $6,13 billion. IBIT alone accounted for $4,54 billion, which indicates continued interest in the funds from large investors, despite the outflow of funds.

On Friday ETH-ETF ended their longest streak of inflows. After 20 trading days with net inflows on Friday эфириум- funds recorded an outflow of $152,26 million. The total amount of assets under management now stands at $20,11 billion, or 4,70% of the market capitalization of the leading altcoin.
