NFT sales hit mid-June lows in a week
Sales for the first week of September NFT fell to $91,96 million, the lowest since mid-June, according to tracker CryptoSlam.
Falling sales NFT last week came after a steady increase in this indicator in July and August. Over the two months, sales volume never fell below $115 million, which indicates a high growth rate. And from July 21 to 27, the indicator exceeded a record $170 million. However, with the beginning of autumn, sales volume returned to the level of June 16-22 at $90 million.
From September 1 to September 7, the number of unique buyers NFT amounted to 199,821 people, which is 58% less than in mid-June. On the other hand, the number of sellers decreased by 43% — only 145,877.
The average price of the digital asset has also fallen. For most of August, it was above $104, but by the end of the month it had dropped to $82, and in early September to $72. That is, in just two weeks, the average price NFT decreased by 30%.
Interestingly, the number of transactions at the beginning of autumn remained quite high – about 1,27 million, which indicates investor activity. Although the transactions themselves became significantly smaller in value.
